We’re fully engaged in teaching, knowledge, and discovery.

The Adelphi Center for Health Innovation works diligently to strengthen connections among research, policy, and practice through communications and networking activities. We communicate our activities and achievements using both traditional and state-of-the-art techniques. Communication venues include a Center-specific website and social networking sites, as well as internal and external print materials.

In 2011, Adelphi published its inaugural issue of Erudition, a new faculty research magazine. In this particular issue, all of the research presented focused on health, which is a recognized, established, and growing area of strength for the University. The Center for Health Innovation was the overarching focus of the publication.

At the CHI, we’re also working to publish an annual summary of health-related research we’ve funded or sponsored. Another publication development we’re working toward is an yearly public forum or lecture on a timely, interdisciplinary, health-related topic. Finally, building on the success of Vital Signs, we’re considering an annual published poll on important health-related topics. This will serve to reinforce the importance of thematic areas for programming and research.
